My Philippines trip was busy as usual. I trained my ass off and even got to fight quite a few hard core stick fights. I am still sore from that. I fought Sgt Baltazar and Sgt Prado...the Filipino marines you guys saw fighting on Fight Quest. I will be putting that video out with quite a few others soon. I did very well even with having no ACL in one leg and a fake knee on the other...don't tell my doctor I did this! SSSHHHHH!I got to do about 3 days of training for the Special Action Force Cammandos also. I was told to teach them how to kill so thats what I did. They loved it and wanted more. I saw them training the stuff I taught them on their own time. They need it...they are the ones who fight terrorism there in the Philippines and they have their hands full with that stuff.
I got sick a few times due to the hard core training and drinking the water and tried to fight my way through it by continuing my training. I guess that is part of survival but not easy never the less to do.
I could not go to Mindanao due to so much terrorism to see my Kuntao teachers but they came up north to see me and then put me through a hard core test to see where I am going with my Kuntao. They are impressive people...almost magic. Its hard to explain but I will be gaining a lot more Kuntao knowledge as time goes on, thats all I can say right now. My Kuntao knowledge will be taken to the next level that is not to well known here in the US or outside Mindanao for that matter. I am one lucky feller. This is going to be big. I am part of history in the making right now. You will all see what I mean as time goes on so be patient.
I want to thank Gina for taking on both, the PSDTC and the Traditional Filipino Weapons business, not to mention my pain in the ass dog and my house. This is why I call her Super-woman! I want to thank Frank Summa for taking so many classes. Also John Marinaro, Jason Nadeau (for the kids class and taking my son to class). Also Melvin Torres for all the help. I heard he is looking very good for the upcoming fights we have booked! I want to thank Andy Di Guiseppi for helping out with some of the classes to keep everyone on center. Kwame Smith made it down for a few classes also so I would like to thank him as well. Its good to hear he was there.
The school stayed strong and I heard many new students joined. I hope they found what they are looking for. Its not a paddy-cake school. I hope the new folks go all the way with it. Its not easy but nothing you want to be real good at is!.
See you folks tonight!
