They just sent me the e-mail asking me to see how they used my Igorot Head Hunting Axe in a movie. I have to e-mail them back to find out more about this movie. It looks crazy.

I am VERY flattered to see this happening with the TFW weapons.

psdtc This is the one used http://traditionalfilipinoweapons.com/IrogotAxe2.html
The other one is more popular as an Igorot tribal axe so it would not be appropriate as the one used in the movie.

this is cool. i like the trailer. it looks pretty good. when is it coming out? was that a werewolf?

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Ladyhazle Thanks for watching! I'm afraid you'll have to look for future episodes of the show to find out the creature's identity . We are planning a "season" of nine episodes. Hopefully a solid fan base will help the show continue. I'm not ruling out the possibility of turning the show into a feature length movie though!

I checked this trailer out and my thoughts were that is is unique. unique in a day and age where every idea has been taken by now. The trailer alone kept me on my toes. I can't wait to see it. Keep us informed so we know when it will be out.

I have about 6 of Rons weapons and I always thought they would go well in a movie because they look so nice. These weapons are sharp as hell. How did you avoid accidents in using it in fight scenes? Did you dull the axe a little?

Mertle I really enjoyed the trailer. Just enough to get me to want more.
Keep us posted when new installments are available.

The axe looked like it was made just for the time period that the film was based on.

This is exactly why I chose the weapon. I was originally going to go with an older Igorot design that had a larger head, but it looked too medieval and cumbersome for our character to use in close quarters.

The blade is indeed VERY sharp but we did not dull the axe. If I'd had time\money to get another axe, i would have gladly dulled that one. As it turned out, we came away with only one small knick from the blade and that was because my husband tried to sheath the axe by himself! haha. If anyone knows of a leathersmith who could help me redesign the baldric, I'd love a bit of help.

Our first three episodes don't have a whole lot of combat with the axe. We use body doubles any time Sarcous is hacking away at a "body." I'm looking forward to future episodes where we can see some, one on one axe vs. something equally wicked, action!

What you folks are seeing is episode one of the three that we've shot so far. We hope for nine and then who knows? If you are willing to sit through a five minute trailer though, I'm going to think about lengthening my episodes! The idea was for you to want more, so I'm happy that the show is accomplishing that. Thanks so much for watching!

By the way, the website is getting a facelift, so check back often!

Ladyhazle The site has a new look and some extra features! Take a look and let me know what you think!

Thanks,
A.L.

I don't understand where you see this movie though. is this a B rated movie sold by the people making it or is it online? The trailer looks real good. I saw the axe on there. I bought the other axe last year. I want to buy this one now so i can say I have an axe from a movie. lol I will put it on my christmas list.

I can't wait to see it. Let me know how or where to buy it.

Nik, thanks for taking a look. The axe really is a great weapon and we were very happy with the way it looked on camera.

Animus Cross is a web-based series... like a television show. It is not a movie. Maybe someday after the show has had its run we will think about turning the story into a feature length movie, but right now, it will be viewable once a month. Thanks,
A.L.

Can you put in the exact link to where we can see it? Maybe I am half blind but I can't seem to find it either.

How are you making money on this project if it is online?

Ladyhazle No problem Ron! Please go to www.animuscross.com and click on the movie (soon to be changed to Episodes) button. You will see the trailer on top and Episode One "Hell Runs This Way" below it on the left. The other two are place holders for future episodes! The Episode can also be viewed here:
http://news.tubefilter.tv/2008/11/12/animus-cross-combines-horror-with-history/

Most web series currently online are using their shows as resume builders or hoping they will get bought out by a network. We are concentrating on the web audience for now. The goal is to find advertiser and sponser money to help pay for future episodes to be made. Just like television. We will also be looking for companies willing to give us product in exchange for it being seen on the show, or product placement as its called.

This all depends on how big of an audience we have. So far, we're doing pretty well, with hits from all over the world! The quality of the show is paying off. Once we have enough episodes, we will be compiling them onto a dvd or bluray disc for purchase through our website. Merchandise will also be available in the near future.

Sorry for the confusion on the trailer. Hope this clears it up and you all enjoy episode one!

Thanks,
Amanda
