This is why I say have a good alarm and a big dog not to mention easy accessible weapons. This will blow your mind - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr23tpWX8lMThoughts anyone? This seems like a slow newsday item. If someone wants to break into your house, they will.My house has windows, sliding glass doors, panel windows in one of the doors, and other things they are susceptible to being broken by a burglar. Locks don't keep out thieves. Locks only help honest people stay honest. I suppose you could put steel security doors on all your entrances and fill in all your windows, but that wouldn't do much for your resale value, would it? Silentum Excubitor |

Of course, unless you're doing well financially- (not raising kids on a one-income budget, child support, insurance, mortgage, etc...) You don't have much to steal... My Guitars and my weapons are about all I have left for possesions - oh, and 2 10+ year old vehicles... PK |

You are correct on this but this is why I also stress having an alrm that goes to the Police Station and having a dog. If you are keeping a million dollars in your house, well, then get the appropriate securuty to protect it. If you have a normal house with normal valuables and it is difficult to break in cuz a the dog and a loud ass alarm, the average thief will go to the neighbors house rather than getting nailed at your house. Predators look for the week, the sick, the old...they are opportunists. Just don't give a predator the opportunity and you should be ok.Ron Kosakowski Practical Self Defense Training Center 847 Hamilton Ave. (RT 69) Waterbury, CT 06706 203-596-9073 info@psdtc.com http://www.psdtc.com http://www.traditionalfilipinoweapons.com |
