Great fights! You can see the JKD kick to punch progressions in the stand up fight, and the very Judo, or "Hartsell"-esqe position movement in the grappling. Good work Ron and Jessie!

why does jesse always fight people bigger than he is? lol is it because no kid his size can take him? he did great in this fight. i did turn up the speakers and you can hear those hits loudly. the other kid did not have the foot work and the evasive skills jesse has.

the grappling looked like the usual jesse james, an absolute massacre.

i can't wait to see where this kid ends up in the future.

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Vary Cool, with all the half guards used today try out some turks. I've found them to be vary nice answer to the half guard.

Nice work Jesse. As usual, you seem to kick ass.

bmcoomes, what are turks? I didn't even see a half guard here. Jesse James K(?) just tore that kid up bottom line.

Brent...welcome to the forum.

I am not sure what turks are either. I just looked it up on youtube and saw nothing on it. Actually, Atom ant was correct in saying, did Jesse really need anything else in this match to win? It was a literal slaughter. he has many tricks to escape half guard position when he needs it, I can assure you that. But here, he did not need anything to improve his game.

Right I'd agree that he did need to do anything else. He did really well all on his own. I didn't mean to come across like that. I was just putting out some information. If I can get your guys youtube names I'll share that clip. I don't want to put it out publicly it's from copyrighted marital.

Methinks he means the video is set for private viewing only on YouTube. Last I knew, Ron/Gina's YouTube account is RonOrGina. (Mine's OakLeafLodge.)

Yes, I know this move. I am sure Jesse knows this as well. We usually have a flow of alternatives following right into a knee bar from this particualar position. Depending on how the person holds you in half guard. We just don't call it the turk. I never heard that term before. Actually, I don't have a name for it...maybe I will use whats its called here,"the turk!"

As for the head push, in the heat of battle, adrenolin alone will counter the pain.

OH no that not me, that's Mark Hatmaker. I'm just a lowly correctional officer in Washington state. The term 'Turk' is from the wrestling arena. Hatmaker is a big force on bring back submission wrestling of old were all of the holds and submissions are open. I truly like his material but more importantly I the training method and the science behind. That's to Scott Sonnon. but any who I don't mean to derail the thread. Jesse did great keep up the good work and maturing into a adult warrior.

Thanks
Brent
